ABOUT THE COURSE

DELIVER WORLD-CLASS IT-ENABLED SERVICES with the  world's leading framework in IT Service Management still used by Global IT Professionals in organizations like Microsoft, IBM, NASA, HSBC, Procter & Gamble, Disney and DXC. This is a 4-day course that will equip participants' basic understanding of the ITIL Framework and industry best practices to help businesses manage their IT services.

With UBQTY's 20+ years of experience in using ITIL and 12+ years of providing ITIL training, not to mention having the IT Service Management Forum (itSMF) Founding President as the lead facilitator, this training course is the ideal prerequisite for those interested in learning to apply ITIL best practices and obtaining the globally recognized ITIL Foundation Certificate. This program is a 16-hour course, for UBQTY’s September 19, 21, 26, 28 afternoon online training. Our certified, experienced facilitator will provide contextualized and related examples to: 

• Relevant lessons to all trainees and applicable to key clients 

• Fit participants' existing job descriptions, past, and current experiences 

• Shared services, academe, airline, business and IT development programs. 

 

The facilitator will provide ample support (sample exams) and coaching, drawing on his ITIL® foundations, intermediate, and examination experience. Participants who are not ready by the end of the course have the option of taking the certification exam later.

What's New in ITIL® 4?

The context of ITIL, with the release of ITIL® 4 is much bigger, with an emphasis on the business and technology world, how it works today, and how it will work in the future with Agile, DevOps, and digital transformation. It now focuses on Service Value System (SVS) instead of Service Life Cycle:

  • Sixteen hours of ITIL® 4 Foundation courses per batch, including exercises, and quizzes

    • Five realistic, full mock exams of 40 questions each

    • Five section quizzes, to check progress and understanding

    • Exercises throughout to apply the concepts for reapplication to the trainees’ organization.

    • Trainee courseware, using the latest Axelos ITIL official training material (electronic copies)

  • ITIL® 4 Foundation: an introduction to ITIL 4, incorporating the corresponding Digital Core Guidance (eBook). The Core Guidance eBook acts as a valuable source for candidates for their exam and day-to-day work, long after their exam has finished.

  • Online test for the candidates

    • One (1) ITIL® 4 Foundation exam voucher per candidate, valid for 12 monthsCan be booked anytime by the participant based on his/her availability. Note: Once the exam is scheduled, the exam may only be rescheduled to a different date and time up to 48 hours before the originally chosen exam date and start time – otherwise, a rescheduling fee will be incurred.

  • PeopleCert accredited proctor will ensure quality and safety of the examinee as well as assist the examinee on the test platform

  • Take2 Re-sit Exam

    • PeopleCert (the official exam provider) offers the ITIL® 4 Exam Simulator or the Take2 Option. This allows candidates to conveniently retake their exam within six (6) months.

Pabs is a thought leader and ITSM professional, project, program and portfolio manager, consultant, and trainer. He has advised private, public. Academe, industry clients. Pabs is the founding president of the IT Service Management Forum Philippines Chapter and has contributed to ITIL 4's and PRINCE2 reviews. He is the first Filipino to obtain both the ITIL Managing Professional (MP, see ITIL 4 certification scheme on p. 7) and Axelos’ Portfolio Programme Project Management Maturity Model (P3M3) assessor. Pabs is also the first (and only) Filipino to obtain the Management of Risk 4.0 Practitioner certification. He has 28 years’ experience in the information technology, engineering, manufacturing industries and has experience in areas ranging from Enterprise Risk, ITSM, Portfolio, Programme, Project Management, competencies capability building, Business Intelligence and Analytics, Supply Chain, R&D, Engineering and Sales.
